How it Works
SIP Trunking removes the need for traditional copper wires and replaces it with the internet – SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) uses addresses instead of good old copper wires. The SIP essentially sets up the call session and closes it off again and all it needs is SIP endpoints like a desk phone or another SIP enabled device.
What We Can Do for Your Business
Like with all of our services, scalability is quick and easy. Traditional ISDN lines can carry a limited amount of connections in one line, whereas SIP Trunks can carry up to 2,000 channels in one connection, therefore offering immediate cost savings. There is the possibility of unlimited DDI ranges, recording, conferencing, using non-geographical numbers and the ability to divert calls by DDI, offering you a truly flexible system.
